The "Las Nubes" estate has become a blessed place for me. A place where, in an atmosphere of acceptance, freedom, living every seemingly ordinary day, in the family of Sasha and Natasha, I felt a change within myself. I saw an example of a family in which parents wholeheartedly love Jesus. I saw the life of ordinary people, how they go through their difficulties, but with Jesus. I saw how much God can do when they simply trust Him and seek Him. I saw authenticity in this family.
Sasha and Natasha did not play the “ideal” Christian family. They openly discuss with children by the fireplace the realities of life that a Christian lives. And my soul rejoiced when I saw an example of such parents-leaders! I believe that this is a healthy fatherhood and motherhood - not just saying “Jesus loves you” to a child, but also instilling in him responsibility for his actions both in society and before God. Sasha and Natasha became spiritual parents to many people, such God gave them a heart. I came to their family with my past, at the time of my arrival I was undergoing a program of internal rehabilitation in Ukraine, and the atmosphere of mature Christian relations in Ishchenko’s family benefited me. In the morning there was a routine - we read the Word, worshiped, prayed together.
Thank God that He gave such people that the couple Sasha and Natasha dared to dream much more than just a beautiful life, that they are those whom God has put in his heart to sympathize with people like me - wounded by the past. Thank you for looking at their personal trials despite their personal trials. Thank you for being UNCOMPROMISE, for being brave and not afraid to be exactly what God called you to be, you lead.
I know that you only in Heaven will fully know what influence God has made on the hearts of those whom you have accepted into your family!
